Alive Memory
World War II has affected nearly every family in Russia and 6 billion letters were sent home from the frontlines. Still, there was no public database to collect and catalogue them. We used technology to rescue these letters before light, humidity and cold physically destroyed them forever. The project got us two Cannes Lions in Cyber and Design, but most importantly we had 227 PR mentions and the letters were read 3M+ times.
In order to engage younger generations, we involved 7 creators from diverse artistic backgrounds. We asked them to choose one letter and to revisit it using their own talent and visual language.
